Kachiu earned her medical degree and Masters Degree in Public Health from Northwestern University and served as chief resident in her dermatology residency at Brown University. She is currently enjoying a clinical and research fellowship at Harvard Medical School’s Wellman Center for Photomedicine. After fellowship, she plans to return to Brown University as faculty, with research emphasis on epidemiology, medical education, and photomedicine. As the first physician in her family, Kachiu hopes to play a critical role in helping medical students and residents fulfill their career aspirations. She has contributed to several projects in the First Aid/USMLE-Rx family of publications, including the Qmax test bank, First Aid for the USMLE Step 1, First Aid for the USMLE Step 2 CS, and First Aid for the USMLE Step 3. In her leisure time, she enjoys photography, playing piano, and exploring New England with her family.
